Awards & Displays at the Path to Purchase Expo

Finalist entries on display in the Design of the Times Gallery on the show floor of the Path to Purchase Expo will vie for the coveted “Best of the Times” award. All Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and the "Best of the Times" winners will be announced at the Path to Purchase Expo in November 2020 during a thought leadership session. 

  1. Best Merchandising Solution
    Awarded to the program that most effectively solves a brand’s need to effectively and efficiently stock product in a secondary location in a unique, attention-getting manner.
     
  2. Best Sales-Driving Solution
    Awarded to the program that most effectively solves a brand’s need to drive incremental sales during a specific promotional period. 
     
  3. Best Shopping Solution
    Awarded to the program that most effectively delivers a tool that simplifies, quickens or  otherwise improves the act of shopping.
     
  4. Best Shopper Experience Progra 
    Awarded to the program that most effectively enhances the shopper experience by providing entertainment, visual enhancements, navigational assistance or other physical improvements to the retail environment.
     
  5. Best Shopper Education Program
    Awarded to the program that most effectively aids purchase decisions by educating shoppers about product features and benefits, proper usage, competitive advantages and/or other information.
     
  6. Best New Product Introduction
    Awarded to the program that most effectively introduces a new product to market.
     
  7. Best Brand Building Program
    Awarded to the program that most effectively builds awareness for a brand within the  retail environment (while also driving incremental sales).
     
  8. Best Collaborative Program (Retailer-Manufacturer)
    Awarded to a program created jointly by a retailer and a manufacturer that most effectively drove mutually beneficial results. 
     
  9. Best Collaborative Program (Cross-Brand or Cross-Manufacturer)
    Awarded to a program created jointly by two brands at the same manufacturer or two different manufacturers that most effectively drove mutually beneficial results.
